April Playlist: Sexy Getting Ready Songs

It’s finally April, y’all, and the rising mercury means we’re ready to leave our caves of winter hibernation and hit the town! Now for us that means our favorite bar and not necessarily “Da Club” (If you’ve met us, you know we’re not really club people…unless we’re in Europe, and then it’s a whole new ball game). Still, regardless of where you’re going out, it all starts with the preparation. Whether you’re pregaming or primping, tossing back shots or attempting to share the one full-length mirror in your apartment, getting ready needs its own soundtrack to set the mood. As Rebecca Bunch (aka Rachel Bloom) so eloquently puts it, we put ourselves through a lot to look as good as we do, and we all deserve a good rom-com montage. So this month, put on this playlist, pour the margaritas (or other favorite beverage if, like Zelda, you and tequila are not friends), and grab your mascara. We promise by the end of you’ll be ready for a night on the town…or a night on your couch! Because who says you can only get pretty for the public? Sometimes you just want to put on some lipstick and watch Netflix. Either way, this playlist will set the mood. You do you, sister friend.
